FAQs about Adding Watermarks to Image

The tool supports common web image formats: JPG/JPEG, PNG, GIF and WebP. Large images are auto-scaled for preview; the original resolution is preserved for download unless you explicitly resize.

By default all processing happens in your browser - files are not uploaded. If you choose to send files to a server or use a server-side export, the site will make that clear and request permission.

Enable the "Tile" (mosaic) option to repeat the watermark across the whole image. Use the Tile spacing slider to control horizontal and vertical gaps between repeats. Rotation, scale and opacity apply to each tile.

Yes - upload a TTF or OTF file. The font is registered in your browser and applied immediately for preview and download. Uploaded fonts are not sent anywhere unless you explicitly upload them to a server.

The generated image uses the canvas export settings. If you keep the preview max dimension at a high value, the output will be close to the original quality. For lossless results, use PNG output when available.

Position presets (center, corners) are available for quick placement. For fine control you can use tiling or combine scale/rotation/offset options. Manual drag placement is planned for a future update.

If the watermark is hard to see, try increasing opacity, reducing scale, changing color or adding a shadow/stroke for text. For image watermarks, ensure the watermark file has enough contrast against the background or use the tile mode for better coverage.
